Encrypt Before You Click

If you need to send a file outside the postal network, protect postal data by using the Enterprise Encryption Service.
When you include the key phrase #sensitive# in the subject line, the Enterprise Encryption Service will intercept the email and encrypt it before sending it on to the recipient. The recipient will be directed to a secured server.

Encrypting postal information protects it from hackers and unauthorized use.

And that’s smart business.

Know which way is out.

All emergency exits must be marked with a readily visible sign. The letters reading “EXIT” must be no less than 6 inches high, with 3/4 inch wide lettering colored in red or green. Directional arrows are necessary if the path to reach the nearest exit isn’t obvious. Rooms not designated as an exit and which have only one door must be marked with a sign reading “NOT AN EXIT” or the name of the room so employees won’t mistake it for an emergency exit. Keep all exits clear of obstructions at all times.

USPS facilities are required to display diagrams of emergency exit routes. Make sure employees know where the diagrams are located.

It’s all about balance

A reasonable amount of stress is not necessarily a bad thing. But too much stress can be unhealthy. How do you know when your cup is overflowing? Short-term effects include excessive sweating, cold hands and feet, tension and upset stomach. Long-term effects include allergies, headaches, ulcers, high blood pressure and heart problems. Psychological or behavior effects include moodiness, depression, inability to concentrate and use of drugs or alcohol.

Mentally healthy employees are more productive.
