As a Postal Service employee, you can’t use your position for your private gain.
Or the private gain of your relatives.
Or anyone you are affiliated with outside the government.

When you keep it ethical, you maintain the integrity of the Postal Service.

And that’s smart business.

More than half of the OIG’s misconduct investigations involve a misuse-of-position issue. Contact the Ethics Office (ethics.help@usps.gov) for more guidance.

Keep your work area free of clutter. Put everything in its place. Make sure there are no hazards. Keep debris off floors. Clean up and report spills immediately. Stage and stack equipment neatly and keep aisles clear for the movement of employees and equipment. Keep a clear pathway to fire extinguishers, electrical panels and exits.

How’s your health?

A health assessment is a great tool for knowing how to answer that question. It evaluates your personal lifestyle and habits to identify unhealthy behaviors and risks that you can change to live a better life. Some health plans offer a free online health assessment, and many give you an incentive, like a gift card or discount, for completing the assessment.
