Gifts from Outside Sources

• Thanks, But No Thanks.
• While there are some exceptions, you cannot accept a gift given to you because of your job.

Our customers, suppliers, and the public should know that they will be treated fairly and professionally no matter what. Accepting gifts leaves the opposite impression. Declining inappropriate gifts is not only the law, it’s smart business.

Share and communicate project deliverables, deadlines and overlaps.

• Give employees a short-term and long-term view of a process or project.
• Empower them to contribute both to their and other projects whenever possible — pooling resources, skills and knowledge fortifies team bonds and extends flexibility in juggling multiple priorities.

Team members given an overview of interactions learn to observe and implement various approaches to a goal.
Seeing shared processes, with a common endpoint, helps guide direction and clarity.
