Don’t strong-arm anyone for contributions.

You may not set 100% Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) participation goals. You may not establish personal dollar goals and quotas.
You may not create or use lists of non-contributors. Those are against the rules.

CFC activity that encourages charitable donations without coercion contributes to a functional work environment.

And that’s smart business.

It’s a cyber jungle outside our firewalls, with threats potentially lurking near that coffee shop or hotel Wi-Fi connection. When traveling or teleworking, do your part to keep USPS information resources secure.
- Avoid using unsecured public Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet.
- Only use USPS-approved VPN to connect to Blue, the Postal Service intranet.
- Immediately report lost or stolen devices to the USPS Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) at 866-877-7247. A CIRT team member will provide further instructions on what you need to do.

Keeping information secure is our responsibility as one of America’s most trusted organizations.

Safety orientation

Spread the safety knowledge.

All postal employees, including non-career employees, must receive a general safety and health orientation and sufficient on-the-job training. The training must include site-specific safety rules, specific job safety analyses, required OSHA programs, emergency evacuation procedures and OSHA rights and responsibilities.

This training enables employees to follow safe work practices, recognize hazards and understand the benefits of a safety-focused workplace.

We’re going to illuminate you on the use of headlights.

They’re not just for driving at night. Headlights are required to be turned on from sunset to sunrise when driving in smoke or fog, if visibility is less than a thousand feet, or when windshield wipers are in continuous use because it’s raining, sleeting or snowing.

Turning on your headlights can play an important role in keeping you — and those around you — safe on the road.
