Absent a contractual agreement, local businesses are not permitted on postal property for commercial purposes, including to display commercial advertising.
Follow the guidelines on Poster 7 regarding rules for conduct on Postal Service property.
That’s our smart business.

Development requires commitment — from both manager and employee. Each employee is a unique individual. Each person may need, respond to, or value developmental encouragement differently. It starts with an understanding, followed by a commitment.
There are mandatory requirements for mailing packages containing hazardous or perishable material. Find this information in the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), International Mail Manual (IMM) and Publication 52, Hazardous, Restricted, and Perishable Mail. Many hazardous materials acceptable for mailing can’t be transported by air. USPS maintains strict quantity restrictions and packaging, labeling, marking and documentation requirements for hazardous materials transported by air.
The DMM, IMM and Pub 52 can be found on the PolicyNet link on the Blue Intranet.

All Postal Service employees working with lead-based paint or lead-containing material must receive training in lead hazards and approved work practices. All work performed by contractors must be done in accordance with approved statements of work. Contractors must be monitored periodically to ensure their activities don’t create lead-based paint hazards and that they comply with OSHA regulations.
USPS informs employees, contractors and other building occupants of the presence of lead-based paint if they’re going to perform tasks that may create lead dust or fumes, and maintains lead-containing paint in good condition to keep it from becoming a hazard.
