If meals are provided to you for free or at a nominal amount while on official travel, you should reduce the per diem by the appropriate amount.
Always timely complete PS Form 3971, Request for or Notification of Absence, when you take leave.

Getting it right saves time, ensures that you are fully compensated for travel, and also saves the Postal Service money when travel expenses are accurately recorded.

Be objective.

When you give co-workers feedback about safe behavior, you must base it on what you actually see a person doing — not on opinions or interpretations about their performance. Be specific about what you observed. Deliver feedback immediately or as soon as possible after the behavior happens. Identify the person or group to whom you’re giving the feedback by name.

Safety observations are an opportunity to identify unsafe practices and correct them before they result in an accident.
