Stroke symptoms

Know the signs of a stroke.

Paralysis or numbness, especially on one side of the body. Confusion. Trouble speaking. Sudden, severe headaches. Trouble seeing in one or both eyes. Loss of balance or coordination.

If you think someone is having a stroke, call 9-1-1 immediately. With timely treatment, the risk of death and disability from stroke can be lowered.
