Personal protective equipment

Employees must be retrained on PPE when:

• Changes in the workplace render previous training obsolete
• Changes in the types of PPE to be used render previous training obsolete
• They demonstrate inadequacies in retaining the requisite understanding or skill to use PPE

Training documentation must be maintained in HERO and must include, at a minimum, the employee’s name, date(s) of training, and training subject.

And that’s smart safety.
