If there’s a change, retrain.
Employees must be retrained on PPE when:
- Changes in the workplace render previous training obsolete
- Changes in the types of PPE to be used render previous training obsolete
- They demonstrate inadequacies in retaining the requisite understanding or skill to use PPE
Training documentation must be maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS) and must include, at a minimum, the employee’s name, date(s) of training, and training subject.
And that’s smart safety.
