Buy a Snack, Not a Whole Vending Machine

Postal employees may not own or operate vending machines on postal property.

Employees are prohibited from engaging in sales activities on behalf of themselves or any other person while on duty, in uniform, or on postal property.  Employees are also prohibited from soliciting and vending for commercial purposes on postal property without a contract with the Postal Service.

Use postal property for postal business only.

And that’s smart business.
