Safety talks are an effective way to instill the importance of safety. Prepare your talk carefully. Focus on one major subject or policy. Keep the talk targeted. For example, if you discuss housekeeping, highlight the danger of loose objects on the floor. Use visual aids or demonstrations to make your talk more interesting. Involve your employees when possible — this helps promote a safety culture.

Rollaway/runaway

Rollaway/runaway accidents are always preventable. When parking vehicles, drivers must, place the vehicle in parking gear, set the parking brake, curb the wheels, turn off the engine and remove the key. When parking a vehicle uphill, turn the front wheels away from the curb. When parking downhill, turn them into the curb.

Following these steps will eliminate damages and injuries caused when an uncontrolled vehicle hits something or someone.
