Prohibited Supplemental Employment – Postal Consultant

Don’t Subcontract with the Contractor

  • Postal Service employees are prohibited from providing consultation, advice, or any subcontracting service to any person who has a contract with the Postal Service or might compete for a contract.
  • This includes consulting about postal operations, programs, or procedures.

Avoiding conflicting outside employment preserves the Postal Service’s reputation as being fair and honest.

And that’s smart business.
