Prohibited Supplemental Employment – Mail Transportation Contractor
Heed the Roadblocks
- Thinking of working for a person who has a contract with the Postal Service to transport mail to and from the postal facility at which you work? You can’t.
- This prohibition also applies to contractors moving mail to or from a postal facility within the delivery area of a post office in which you work.
Avoiding conflicting outside employment preserves the Postal Service’s reputation as being fair and honest.
And that’s smart business.
