Community Service Activities
Good Deeds Should Go Unpunished
- The Postal Service can enhance its reputation by engaging in community service activities in our communities. But, there’s a right way, and a wrong way to go about it.
- Following the policy found in the Administrative Support Manual, Section 333.7, Participation in Community Service Activities (CSAP) is the right way.
Unapproved activities – even really good ones – may violate ethics regulations and spark OIG investigations, which reduces productivity.
Following the CSAP policy is smart business.
